Is it time to call a tree service in Stafford to remove that old tree? It can be a painful choice to make, but sometimes the tree gets too close to the house, gets too diseased, gets an incurable infestation of some pest, or grows too tall and gets close to a power line. If any of these things occur, its best to do the right thing and get rid of the tree. Although you might have spent hours and hours getting the tree to where it is today, it is almost dishonorable to the tree to allow it to suffer in bad conditions.
Our tree removal service will plan it out, climb up the tree and tie two long ropes near the top. Anchor them on the opposite side of the one that we want it to fall towards. This will allow us to adjust the direction the tree is being lowered in, just in case it starts leaning towards anything it could destroy.

Once the tree is down, stump removal can be slightly more difficult. We have several choices; use a stump chipper that will completely destroy the visible section of the stump. Or we can dig it out. Digging out the stump is much more thorough, but takes time. You can choose to do this yourself or have the family help. If you have kids this shouldn’t be a problem. Kids often find the thought of digging fun, and are excited to go outside and dig all day long with their friends.
Tree Trimming Equipment
Minneapolis is renowned for its exquisite trees. Trees are not only an integral part of the city, but also an intrinsic way of life. The character and beauty of Minneapolis is defined by its vibrant canopies of leafy, lush green avenues in the summer and the breathtakingly beautiful, fiery splashes of rust in autumn. No wonder then that tree trimming and tree pruning are vital services to most homeowners in the urban area.
The Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board is responsible for maintaining, monitoring, re-planting, pruning and removal of the city's trees, however, it is up to the individual property owner to monitor and properly maintain the trees in their own garden.
Urban forests are not only a thing of beauty, but also an important source of health and wellbeing for any environment and its society. Trees may be the "lungs" of the world that purify the air that we breathe, but on a more personal level, can also significantly lower temperatures in summer and therefore save appreciably on air-conditioning costs for the home. Trees also help prevent soil erosion, and have statistically been proven to increase property prices significantly.
Preserving Damaged trees
Tree specialists will not only remove upended trees safely and without further damage to property, but will also be able to give practical advice on how to save or preserve existing trees that are still left standing, even though they may have been damaged in the storm. Partially damaged trees that have been badly injured may pose a future threat and may have to be cut down and removed to prevent placing people and property at risk in months or years to come.
Qualified tree surgeons are not only experienced in saving and preserving what is left of a tree, but also able to conserve the garden as much as possible after a disaster.

Tree Trimming - Is Your Tree Diseased?
Many homeowners find it difficult to justify the expense and storage associated with the purchase of heavy construction equipment. But if you have even a couple trees on the property, chances are you will have a need for a lift somewhere along the line.
For these reasons, many people choose to look into lift equipment rental when it comes to their tree maintenance. Knowing just how to go about the rental process can make the whole ordeal much more stress free, cheaper, safer, and easier than hiring a service to do it for you.
Step 1 - Find Your Height
Step 5 - Return
Once you've completed your project, it's time to return your equipment. Be sure to make the return as quickly as possible in order to avoid any late fees or penalties. Always keep a copy of the rental agreement in case you notice an overcharge and need to dispute it down the road.
Tree Trimming Cost?
If you are looking for an inexpensive and easy way to get rid of old tree stumps, you should consider burning them down. This method is a very popular way to remove tree stumps without using any major equipment or tools. Furthermore, the cost is drastically lower than professional stump removal or stump grinding service since all you need are a few over-the-counter, store-bought products. You can expect to spend anywhere from $20 to $100, depending on the size and quantity of the tree stumps. Additional tools may be required as well, such as a power drill with wood-boring bit, a gardening spade, compost, and more. Continue below to see what you'll need this particular method of stump removal.
How to Burn a Tree Stump
This method is not recommended for anyone that does not have experience working with open flames and fire. It is also never recommended for areas that are dry or combustible. If you do choose to burn your tree stumps, it is vital to use strict internal safety standards. Learn what these are before getting started.
Top off each hole with hot water using a funnel or spouted cup. Continue to pour hot water in the holes until the potassium nitrate is fully dissolved.
Position the dry scrap wood on top of the stump. Try using a "V" or "tee-pee" shape, starting at the ground, and ending as a cone around the entire stump. This sometimes delivers better combustibility.
Use your match to light up the scrap wood. You may need to use a fire starter material along with it, but NEVER use lighter fluid or gasoline.
Stay with the stump as it smolders down to ash. This could take a few hours. You may even have to repeat the burning process more than once.
Once all the stump has turned to ash, use your shovel to break away the leftover pieces of burnt wood and tree roots.
Optional: Fill in the hole with new soil and cover with grass seed.
